Shadows of Ashes
Shadows of ashes is a series of photographs I took during one hot Ithaca summer. They are taken during a span of three months, each conceived from a different concept. However, now that I look back, I realize they are surprisingly consistent in reflecting my inner turmoil over my identity and my relationship with the places I have once called ‘home”.
